Bhopal

Bhopal is best known to many people as the site of what is considered the world’s worst industrial disaster, the Bhopal gas tragedy in 1984, which has claimed the lives of 16,000 people.

However, Bhopal is also a very progressive city, the capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh and is known as the City of Lakes for its various natural as well as artificial lakes and is also one of the greenest cities in India. Our accommodation is overlooking one of the lakes and it a great starting point for our Bhopal adventures:

BHIMBETKA ROCK SHELTERS

TRIBAL ARTISTS OF MADHYA PRADESH

From our Bhopal adventures, we travel to the hill station Mussoorie in Uttarakhand >>>
